Brickwalls everywhere!
The 2D section caught some dust over the last time. Everyone who has been working on this section is no longer in the team or has simply no time to create textures. Without Garrador I would be facing this alone. And we need a hell of a lot textures. I am getting a headache if I have to make another brickwall. So if there is anyone out there who thinks he is skilled and motivated enough to make map textures for us, apply now!
Despite too less Texture Artists we are coming along quite well thanks to too much freetime of mine and thanks to our new much more structured approach on the modification. Every Level Deisgner has to make clear request what textures are needed so we prevent making too many of those we don't need and this way we always see how close we are to finishing the work. Until the end of the next week the level textures for the hideout map will be finished and I am quite satisfied with the achievements so far. The use of normal and specular maps is a real blessing! Soon I will have a look at details maps, too because we want to use every technique at our hands to make the mod look as good as possible.
